About Us

TASM is a professional organization dedicated to supporting mathematics leaders across Texas who supervise and guide teachers from pre-kindergarten through college. Our members include mathematics coordinators, supervisors, administrators, instructional leaders, higher education partners, and others committed to advancing excellence and innovation in mathematics teaching and learning for all students.

As a TASM member, you become part of a dynamic statewide network of leaders working toward a common goal—strengthening mathematics education across Texas through collaboration, advocacy, and professional learning.

TASM is specifically designed to support and grow mathematics leaders through collaboration, mentorship, advocacy, and practical problem-solving centered on the real work of leading mathematics programs and supporting teachers across Texas.

Full Membership

Full Membership ($30/year) is for individuals who are actively employed in a public or private educational setting at the state, regional, district, or college/university level and who participate in the training, supervision, or evaluation of mathematics teachers.
Full Members may vote and may hold elected office within the organization.

Associate Membership

Associate Membership ($30/year) is for individuals who are not currently employed in a public or private educational setting at the state, regional, district, or college/university level.
Associate Members do not have voting privileges and may not hold elected office.
